If you're looking for a traditional country church with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, then you should consider visiting St Michael and All Angels Hinton. We offer a sung Eucharist service each week, and our friendly congregation will make you feel right at home. So why not give us a try?
Our work
St Michael and All Angels is a small, traditional country church located in Hinton at the junction of the B3055 with the A35. Our weekly service features a sung Eucharist service, following the Book of Common Prayer. Our aim is to provide a meaningful and spiritual experience for all who visit us, whether they are newcomers to the area or long-time residents. We hope that you will come and join us for a service soon!
Each year our Benefice works alongside CPAS (Church Pastoral Aid Society) to invite the Year 4 children from Bransgore Primary School to a residential trip in the New Forest. The children have a wonderful time engaging in some fantastic activities including rock climbing, den building and wide games. Alongside the more physical activities the children are also given the opportunity to explore the message of the Gospel in an informal, fun and open way. They are encouraged to ask questions and explore for themselves what the Gospels mean for them. These sessions take the shape of a detective agency, discovering the 'case of the empty tomb'.
Please do make this trip a pray priority through the month of March. Hold the children, teachers, adult leaders and helpers; as well as the parents/carers of each child in your prayers. It is such a wonderful experience for everyone involved; but takes a great deal of preparation, and energy once you are there! If you would like any further information about the residential or School Ventures and CPAS please do speak to a Minister at your church, or you can contact the Benefice office admin@newforestedgechurches.org
